What a fantastic day! 🏑

Over 120 young people joined us today in the culmination of this year’s Hockey in the Community programme, bringing together children from schools across Sheffield to showcase the skills they’ve developed throughout the year.

A huge thank you goes to Will Hearne, whose coaching and enthusiasm have inspired hundreds of children through sessions delivered in schools as part of Sheffield University Bankers Hockey Club’s Hockey in the Community initiative.

Seeing so many children running around with smiles on their faces, making new friends, growing in confidence and enjoying our sport is exactly what this programme is all about.

The best part? This is just the beginning. We already have even more young people signed up to come back next week, and we can’t wait to welcome them onto the pitch.
