🚨 Coaching Announcement 🚨

We’re really pleased to announce that @ashdown_ollie will be joining Sheffield University Bankers Hockey Club next season as our new Performance Squad Coach and Men’s 1st XI Player. 💙

Ollie joins after four years playing and coaching at @officialbeehc in the National Premier Division, bringing with him a huge amount of experience from the very top end of the domestic game.

For a club like ours, this is a wonderfully exciting addition and another positive step forward in the journey we’re on together.

“Following the promotion of the Men’s 1st XI into National Conference North and the Men’s 2nd XI to YNE Division 1, this coaching appointment was a critical one to get right.

Having spoken to Ollie at length in recent weeks, I am confident that this is an outstanding appointment for SUBHC.

Ollie is not only an outstanding player, but has a wealth of coaching experience. Coming straight from a Premier League set up, following Beeston’s miraculous ‘great escape’, means he brings with him standards that will undoubtedly drive forward our Men’s Performance Squad in this next phase of its journey.”
