At Sheffield University Bankers Hockey Club, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Our flow diagram shows the simple steps all members should take if they ever witness or become aware of a safeguarding concern. You don’t need to investigate yourself — just listen, make a careful record of what you’ve seen or heard, and pass this on to our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy DSL as soon as possible.
If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999 right away. For all other situations, please report your concerns promptly so that they can be acted upon in line with our safeguarding policy.
By following this process, every member plays a vital role in keeping children, young people, and adults at risk safe within our club.
